The Country Club Hills Police Department is actively investigating two homicides that have occurred in the city within the last year. Indicated below is a summary of the incidents:

07-09050: on 07/08/2007 at approximately 12:00 am victim Keith Mathis was shot while seated within his vehicle in the area of 188th and maple avenue. A witness on scene reported a dark colored vehicle, possibly a sport utility vehicle, to be involved in the above incident. Callers who provide information which lead to an arrest and conviction of this suspect will receive a $5,000 reward.

07-12090: on 09/29/2007 at approximately 11:00 pm victim Marieo Anderson was shot while standing on the front porch of his residence in the area of 181st and Olympia drive. A witness reported observing a light colored dodge vehicle in the area of incident as well as two unknown male subjects. Callers who provide information which lead to an arrest and conviction of this suspect will receive a $5,000 reward.
