WEEKLY FARMER'S MARKET

Our weekly Farmer's Market is a unique and spirited community function that is open to the public every Saturday from the second week of June to the first week of October. Located across the street from City Hall in the brand new Country Club Hills Pavilion at 4116 West 183rd Street, the Market's hours are 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., during which consumers are welcome to shop for fresh local produce, hand-crafted house wares, and other one-of-a-kind, home-made goodies while listening to festive music and enjoying a summer treat or two.

Purchasing local grown produce has a number benefits including freshness, great taste, and superior nutritional value. Local food gown by smaller family farms travels less distance, spends less time in storage and is often grown without pesticides & chemicals used by many commercial growers. In addition, shopping The Country Club Hills Farmers' Market ensures a unique, culturally diverse experience for each customer. Our market features Amish farmers from Indiana and African-American farmers from Pembroke Township, Illinois who raise their produce with nurturing hands.

 

Weekly featured items include the freshest in fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and organic products; as well as special seasoning mixes and delicious bakery items such as organic granola and mouth-watering, Danish pastries. Specialty vendors offer unique products such gorgeous figurines and a variety of fragrances, oils, and candles. Unique items including stress relieving lotions, original baby bibs, and soy soaps are also available, and with honest, down-home prices, you just might discover a new favorite every week!
